In the Philippines, taho is a street food sold by peddlers known as "magtataho". They normally start walking on the streets even in the smallest alleys where there are probable customers early in the morning. Whenever a magtataho pass by our house and shouts "Tahooooo!", I can always see lots of kids gathering around him and buying taho. Most kids love to eat taho because of its sweetness and the tapioca pearls or what we call "sago". By the way, taho is a soft gelatin-like snack made from processed soya beans and is topped with caramel and the sago. Even the elders, they still enjoy eating taho. Taho is one of the most popular street foods in the Philippines and has been a part of every Flipino's life since childhood.
